Our Story
Aqua-Step® develops SPC products for floors, walls, ceilings and facades. SPC stands for Stone Polymer Composite, a substrate consisting largely of limestone with a small percentage of PVC. It is a stable board that is waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Aqua-Step SPC products
Aqua-Step® is a development of HDM that has been developing and distributing wood, PVC and SPC products for the do-it-yourself and professional market in Europe from Peer, Belgium since 1989. HDM has also started the production of innovative SPC products. On November 8, 2022, we officially opened, as the first in Western Europe, a production line for SPC panels. This is how we work sustainable and we want to make a difference, now and in the future.
Sustainability
Aqua-Step® products are 100% recyclable and have a long lifespan. They are durable boards made of Stone Polymer Composite (SPC) with a finishing layer. The composition is a combination of mainly limestone, a minimum of PVC, recycled material and a low percentage of additives. Thanks to the available installation systems, the products can be dismounted and reused as raw materials according to the cradle-to-cradle principle.
